"Perhaps the recording isn't the best there is, but the songs and their performances certainly are. I ordered two copies of this CD because I wanted to give my mother one and keep the other. It has many pieces that can't be found in other albums and THEY ARE ORIGINALS. Somehow, the original musicians brought more rhythm and more heart to the familiar songs. The newer generation of the Aragón is much too concerned about pronunciation (saying every word in "purer" Spanish) and that detracts from what is said. Also, the register of the new Aragón singers is higher and less warm. The originals are a joy to hear once again. Try it, you'll like it!"
