"This now-defunct band from Philly used creative guitar interplay, unique vocal melodies and thunderous bursts of noise to continually push indie rock boundaries and defy expectations. Of the two albums and one EP they released on Gang of Four bassist David Allen's record label, this album is probably the best material and most compelling recording. From song to song on all 3 releases, it's impossible to know exactly what to expect - which could account for their lack of commercial success. This type of bold experimentation and subtle tonal detail rewards repeated listening. If you enjoy challenging indie rock, snap up this bargain-priced gem before it disappears forever."
