"Larry Coryell is one of the few players who can play bop, fusion and the standards with equal ease. A master of the eclectic, Coryell shows how solo acoustic guitar music was meant to be played. With some of the best chops in the business, Coryell's playing is impeccable. He tears into some difficut material (such as "Hot House") and makes it groove. The highlights are "Brother K" and "The Spanish Suite". Highly recommended for lovers of solo acoustic guitar."

"This is one of those CD's that gets better everytime you listen...I've been an avid fan of Coryell for 25 years or so and have logged many hours listening to all his varieties of recordings. This is one of his best projects in the last 20 years. This CD is a cumulative, matured, result of many earlier acoustic performances- European Impressions,Tributaries, Duets w/P. Catherine, Standing Ovation, Bolero, and so on. This is a tour de force performance. Along with "TOGETHER" (w/ Emily Remler). These two CD's represent Coryell at his best in Solo Acoustic. I highly recommend it."
