CD Reviews

Awesome Album
05/18/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Great albums. Reason is an amazing song. Very new wave sound to it. The cover of Billy joel's "its still rock and roll" is awesome sounds totally different. Every song on this album is an instant classic. Think Human League meets David Bowie with a nasty sense of humour."

"Never the same, from New Wave to Leftfield to Indy, Jesse Hartman has put together an incredible offering that many who have never heard of him are certain to enjoy. I first stumbled across him on MP3.com and have converted to the many that eagerly await his uncertain new releases. Sharp and biting wit eminate from this pained human, mostly stemming from past trials with people of the opposite sex. In tracks "The Reason" and "Nothing to Declare" he bolts forth with an angstful passion about his past, and perhaps his future. He has seen the sights and is left unimpressed. If you have been there you will have instant recognition. A sardonic smile and a nod. Bittersweet at its utter infinite. Check out a limited selection of his works on MP3.com, then buy his cd here. Support such an open and honest artist so he can continue in his campaign to let us into his inner psyche."
