"This CD is smokin'...red hot. I'm tired of people cutting down good musicians. The same has happened to Frank Marino & Robin Trower back in the 70's...everybody's a critic. Lance Lopez rocks...flat out...and is a very talented guitarist in his own right. How many guitarist playing this style haven't borrowed from Hendrix...get over it!!! Hendrix was great but he's gone now...and it's time to start supporting up and coming artist like Lance & Joe Bonamassa...if not they will disappear...and we'll be forced to listen to the sterilized garbage the majors are putting out. Recommended to anyone who likes smokin'funky dirty metalized bluez rock...with blistering solo's."

"The guy in Missouri simply must be tone-deaf, or legally, an idiot. In which case, I hope he is getting the services he needs. There is not a bad song on this entire disc, and the guitar work, song structures, and vocals are stellar throughout. If you like your smokin' Hendrix, SRV, Trower, & Cream, mixed with a little dash of Earth, Wind & Fire, funkified with some gooey 70's urban gravy, and heavied up a la King's X, then this completely original artist is for you. "Alone In Love", "Didja", and "Cardboard Sign" should have you bouncing off the walls, while the blues ditty, "Quarter, Nickel, Or A Dime" is so tasty it hurts, with Lance imitating Howlin' Wolf and Eric Gales channeling John Lee Hooker. A great cover of "Spanish Castle Magic", and the surprise appearance of Doug Pinnick on the epic "Time" also add to the worthiness of the CD. BUY AT ALL COSTS! This disc will rule your player for months."

"I also Think the Review from aussie and the guy from Missouri is way off. This is Lance Lopez' BEST CD TO DATE. Great Songs. Lance vocals are strong and Clear;His guitar playing is out of sight;with Eric Gales contributing mighty to a few cuts. His Hendrix Covers both pay tribute to the original songs while at the same time gives it his own unique spin(much Like Stevie did with Voodoo Child). This a Great CD and fans Texas Blues Rock don't need to miss this one!"
