Lamb collector's must have

"I have all the Lamb albums, obviously a big fan, so I am biased to say the least.
All the remixes presented here are outstanding, and provide a range that covers all 4 albums. Standouts IMO are: God Bless (Wagonchrist mix), Gabriel (Si Begg's 5.1 furures remix), Please (Mezzowave mix), Alien (Photek remix), Cottonwool (Fila Brazilia mix) (which is the hidden track on 'Lamb' btw). Also included in the liner notes are Lou and Andy's personal thoughts about each remix which gives a nice insight into each one.
Admittedly I prefer the original in every case, except the Mezzowave mix of Please, but as a collector it is simply an album I wouldn't go without."
What a sound!

"Lamb has a sound somewhat similar to Portishead or Morcheeba, while still retaining more than a bit of originality. This new compilation collects some great remixes, more than a few previously available and familiar (Mr. Scruff's "Gold" remix introduced me to the band about 10 years ago), yet about half of the selections are previously unavailable or extremely rare. A plethora of great remixers are represented, including many doing some of their earliest remix work (Fila Brazilia, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Rae & Christian, Photek). Even the earlier tracks, while providing a history of the drum & bass scene, sound fresh and valid. For fans of drum and bass specifically, and today's electronica more generally, this is a must-have disc."
Excellent retrospective/reinvention of Lamb

"If you love Lamb, you're really gonna get a kick out of these remixes, and the liner notes are amazingly candid. If you don't know lamb, this is a great album to start off with."
