Album DescriptionBetween 1978 and 1982, the Boston music scene was thriving with great punk and new wave bands -- many of which have become legendary. The club scene was hot, and the indie music scene had great support from college and commercial radio. There were loads of great demos, singles and albums cut by these bands, but not all of the recordings ever saw the light of day. These particular recordings were considered to be a demo, and eventually La Peste disbanded without releasing any of these great songs. As luck would have it, these recordings have all of the real power and energy of the live band. Even with the weird 24-year time-warp delay in their release, they're fun, great vintage Boston punk.
