"This import is nothing more than the 2002 greatest hits album, 'The Ultimate L.A. Guns', under a different title. The recordings here are the same and the running order is the same. Based on the import price, you might as well just buy 'The Ultimate L.A. Guns' if you are interested in the material here.
All of the material was previously released on albums by L.A. Guns that were issued on Deadline Records, except for one track. The version of "My Michelle" was sung by the vocalist, Phil Lewis, for a Guns N' Roses tribute album. The remainder of this material originally came from the following albums: 'Greatest Hits and Black Beauties' (1999), 'Cocked and Reloaded' (2000) and 'Live: A Nite on the Strip' (2000).
It is remarkable the rate at which Deadline/Cleopatra Records licenses off their recordings to various fly-by-night labels. The price and lack of any new material make this a very risky purchase. For more on this pointless import album, read the reviews on 'The Ultimate L.A. Guns.'
