Album Description

Evening Angels is an Art in Concert album inspired by the artwork of James C. Christensen. This orchestral/acoustic album was created by Kurt Bestor to perfectly compliment Christensen's beautiful artwork. Interspersed between musical excursions to Africana, Celtic Lands, Appalachiana, Asiana and Aurora Borealis, the four Evening Angels and their signature instruments, the recorder, harp, lute and tambourine, bring peace to a troubled world with their soothing melodies.

This musical journey through the twilight hours is a perfect complement to the James C. Christensen painting of the same title. Kurt Bestor's music reaches to the very soul where, after all, the richest musical experiences occur. The musical journey he takes us on is a most satisfying one.
