Cross-instrumentation that works beautifully

"The lyrical jazz pianos of Bill Evans & Thelonius Monk have been transposed into string quartet instrumentation. The result is slightly jarring to some. Personally, I find the concept brilliant & the execution quite beautiful. My two favorite genres are jazz & chamber music & this combination of the two is gorgeously done!"
