Thank you for taking the time to consider to our newest CD, "Sunday School Songs and Sing Alongs." This fun collection of "songs of good will," incorporates a variety of pieces that teach children an array of morals while entertaining them with its playful rhythm. It includes traditional pieces such as "Rise and Shine," "Kum Bay Yah," and "This Little Light Of Mine," The CD also features four new original works by singer/songwriter Kristen Puttagio. Kristen's originals have already created a buzz with local schools, camps, churches, and even the interfaith organization, Dovetail. She ties in the theme of "songs of good will" in all of her pieces: "We Are Rainbows," is about how we all make up a sort of rainbow; different people of all backgrounds coming together, doing good things. "Thank You," is simply a song of thanks, whether it be for our friends, our homes, our teachers, or for the laughter that we share. "The Things We'll Need To Know," is a fun song about sharing, helping others, and doing things like holding hands when crossing the street. And lastly is, "My Favorite Time Of Year," a song about the seasons and all the blessings that they each hold for us. This CD is unique in that both children and adults sing on it. A children's chorus sings several numbers, and there are numerous solos by each of the children. Kristen also performs on the album, including a song she sings with her little sister. The second half of this album is a sing-along section in the style of a karaoke CD. It is a great opportunity for kids to learn and sing along, either with parents or their peers.
