"This album is, I think, the latest of Kostia's solo works. It was the first I discovered, and have since purchased the rest of his catalog. For those of us who grew up with Elton's originals dominating the top 40, Kostia's interpretations will be at once haunting and reminiscent. All of Kostia's work evokes the sophistication and comfort of a palatial hotel lounge, nursing a fine cognac late into the evening, the warm glow of a fireplace at your feet and a soft piano in your ears. This man's eloquence in the language of the piano speaks directly to the heart. My only complaint is that he has published so little!"
