"This difficult-to-find album is a thrilling collection of 20th-century works for cello and keyboard, including the Sonata for Cello and Organ by Tatiana Sergeieva (or Tatyana Sergeyeva, or Tatjana Sergejewa, depending on whose spelling convention you follow), which I first heard on Pipedreams program #0125, "From Russia With Love." If you're put off by the lack of previews on Amazon.com, you can look up this program on the Pipedreams web site and listen to the entire Sonata for Cello and Organ. The idiom here is, as one would expect, fairly modern, but still quite accessible. Don't be put off by the dates on these works!
Finally, let me assure you that, besides being the only recording of most or all of these works, this is an excellent one! The recording quality is very good, and Sergeieva and Ali-Sade perform the keyboard parts on their own compositions, so you know these pieces are played as the composers intended.
This recording appears to be very thoroughly out of print, so if you get the chance to purchase it, don't delay!"
