CD Reviews
Buy this CD, no mattar what Micah and "Bob Marley" say

"" Reviewer: bob marley from Cincinnati, Ohio December 12, 1999 Korn, hard hitting music with deeply emotional lyrics. even if you dont respect the band, you have to respect thier energy. ever since MTV got thier dirty hands on Korn, they've been overplayed and have sold out. In the trend of Metallica's short haircuts, Korn has gone the mainstream route for money rather than integrity to the music they play. What expectations can you have for this album, already knowing that it will be bought because the media tells us to, korn is no longer the underground revoloution band, thier mainstream and losing thier edge. buy the album if you want to, but its a losing battle, and its not Korn's fault."What a load of BULL! I can't believe that anyone could say that! KoRn has NOT sold out, and this guy should learn to listen more. You can't think while listening to KoRn, you just have to listen. This dude obviously hasn't learned that yet. If you have previously liked KoRn, amd you aren't too fond of this CD, then you're thinking too hard. The energy level on this CD is high, and rather than thinking of how much money these guys are gunna make, or who is making profits off of their talent, please just listen and go along with the music."

"This is a great cd for all of the Korn fans out there and for all the kids who have parents that don't like them to listen to all the swearing."
Some of KoRn's best stuff

"KoRn's new album, Issues, is a step up from their weak showing on "Follow the Leader". The high energy album speaks for itself. Even on the "clean" version, the messages live on. Simply purging the four-letter words from songs such as "Trash" and "Make Me Bad" does not necessarily change what the song is trying to say. The first single, "Falling Away From Me" is a good example of the band's ability to perform a fast-paced switch from a slow, melancholy melody to a high energy guitar fest. The superior performances by Munky and Head also help the album. Complex drum beats add to the beauty of it all. Johnathan Davis's telling vocals inspire the listener into thinking of the deeper meaning of the songs. In short, "Issues" is a modern-day rock classic."
Kollector's Korn Kover!

"Hmm.. is there something wrong with the kover pictured in this page? I have the edited version, but it has a kartoon-like picture with all the members of the band's mouths zippered shut. Their eyes are kovered and their bodies are tied up in jail suits.I already reviewed the unedited "Issues", so I won't go too much into this one. This is basically the same thing, except censored (duh). Honestly, I bought all the Korn kovers (except for one). This already shows how much I love this CD.Buy this only if you luv Korn. Otherwise, get the uncensored one!"

"If you like the grinding and arguably "rythmic" detuned 7 string weapons, accompanied by some serious slap bass, scary but all too familiar lyrics (in this day & age) than this is for you! Considerably alot tighter & dynamic sounding than "classic KORN?"Try out some of our local boys STAIND.Get your hands on the demo, and the new."
