"This CD has grabbed my attention and others in my family with its emotive and haunting presence. I have played it again and again immediately after hearing of my father's passing and the day of his funeral and at other times when wanting to connect with him. This is not necessarily a sad CD but it does help tap into some emotional and sad places and allows me to go there for reflection and remembrance. My college age daughter has also loved this so much that she often plays it at gatherings among her friends. For Jewish people, in particular, it brings some connectedness with the past, with long gone relatives, with Israel, with the Holocaust, with renewal and with family. It should have been a huge best seller."

"I just saw Kol Simcha in concert 2 weeks ago in Scottsdale and wanted to get some of their music to listen to at home. I really enjoyed this title but it lacks the jazz components that I found so unique from their live performance. The music on this album is very soothing to listen to and is very different from traditional Klezmer music. I recommend this album very much."

"I first heard a selection of this album on Hearts of Space and immediately went to their web-site. From there I clicked to amazon, and ordered it for me and a friend. When I listen to the CD, I get a feeling of some past memory that I can't locate. This collection of songs brings up distant memories of a past life. Having lost many friends and loved ones to AIDS, I feel connected to that time when life passes to the next world, and wonder at the magic of this life. A positive experience with tones of melancholy. I think about who is special to receive this as a gift."
