"This is a band who never lets me down and 'In the Black' is no exception. Heavy vocals to soft serenading siren waves washing over the black sand of guitar crunch. It's an album I had been meaning to acquire sooner, and Christmas was finally a good excuse to pick it up. If you haven't heard them yet I would suggest start with their old stuff to fully appreciate the group and their constant improvement.

"I have been with Kittie since the beginning when I picked up a copy of Spit in the late 90's. I have all their CDs and I have to admit that this new one "In The Black" is my new favorite. This is the hardest and most brutal Kittie album yet.



Morgan is back with the demonic howls and screams that we love her for. She still sings, but the screaming is powerful and in your face like a fist. This was very much missed on Funeral for Yesterday.



My favorite tunes on the album are Cut Throat, Forgive and Forget, and Die Die my Darling. At first when I saw the title I thought they had covered a Misfits song, but it is an original and it kicks butt.



Don't second guess yourself, buy this CD and I guarantee it will be in your car stereo for at least a week non stop."
