But Mr. Clayton adds enough new elements to the genre -- from walls of noise, to subtly funky, wet keyboards, to soulful electro -- to keep this release engaging listen after listen."

Buying this and Mutila at the same time, honestly, good plan

"This is a beautiful Kit Clayton album on the label owned by click hero Pole. Each track is a glorious manoevre by a quiet, gentle electronic artist. I bought this cd because I liked Clayton's other stuff I'd heard and Amazon had a deal with this and Neu! where you could buy them together.Now, what's really brilliant is I see Amazon connecting this Clayton album to Vladislav Delay's Mutila. Both are amazing records that collect the same generous, warm vibe.I'll keep this review short: A little of your paycheque spent on these two albums will keep anyone happy, but especially people keen on the quiet side of the electronic, IDM movement--while you read Ben Marcus's book The Age of Wire & String."
