McKay | Downey, CA United States | 06/04/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "I'm a bit of an audiophile and I'm always looking for the best sounding remastered classics. I'm a huge Kinks fan and didn't know about these Japanese re-issues until recently. Unfortunately they're a bitch and a half to find! But if you do find one, and you ARE a Kinks fan, GRAB IT! The sound quality is superb on these (as if a Japanese remaster is gonna sound bad). However the early albums are still in mono...the one not to miss is the stereo version of "Something Else." But for this one, "Kinda Kinks" has never sounded better. The Japanese know how to remaster things to make them sound "warm" again."
