Product DescriptionFrom the 26th August, 1982 performance at Cap D'Agde, France.
This is Crimson in 'support-slot' mode; wowing the crowds primarily there to see stable-mates Roxy Music, and a heroic job they make of it. As Bill goes walkabout on a mesmerizing rendition of The Sheltering Sky, the sultry Mediterranean weather has to cope with Robert and Belew raising the temperature with their own brand of sweat-inducing storm-clouds of sonic shock and awe.
Robert describes this show as very good; a classic bit of Dorset understatement. This being Crim we celebrate heroic brown moments too. During a crackling version of Neil And Jack And Me, the heat-seeking fingers of everyone's favorite Stick player momentarily veers off the highway of a song that doesn't ever want to hang about. Clams Crimsonique with that Riviera touch anyone?
