ONE OF THE SEXIEST CD'S EVER MADE

"Making a bold statement like that is taking a bold stance on a work of art. Think about it, if this is one of the sexiest albums ever, then I'm technically saying that it's up there with the best bedroom soul of The Isley Brothers and Barry White. I'm probably going to go as far as to say that this mix CD is just as convincingly raunchy as Prince's best material(maybe not the masterstroke of "Dirty Mind" but it comes pretty damn close in terms of testosterone driven brilliance).
Well you may be askin what's so special about this mix CD that makes me take such a bold stance. Well this album penetrates with the precision of a steamy intimate encounter (I'm going to let ya'll guess what I'm referring to with that statement). The smooth tracks here are designed to make you feel good and get you in the mood. There's constant references to the theme sexy with spoken words given by a variety of vocalists about the meaning of the word. It provides extra edge to the music since it makes the sexy beats penetrate deeper into your horomones as the words are spoken. The way the beats are produced makes this sound like an audio orgasm; soft and funky basslines, tender Aliayah like vocals, airy soundscape textures, and jazzy saxophones here and there to provide the sexy edge that the music wants. The warm vibes of these tracks make R. Kelly's sexual innuendos sound forced and tired compared to this.
As for the tracks themselves, there are some that jump out such as: "Waiting for your Love" , "Sweeter Love", and "Delicious". Quite honestly though, since this is a mix CD that's tied together by a specific style and theme, it's best appreciated when it's heard from start to finish. Therefore you'll get the maximum impact of how great this album is. Since this album is skip proof (meaning no wack tracks), it's s possible to play the whole album throughout.
For those of you who follow comtemporary house music, this style of music is familiar. Trust me, you haven't heard it like this! For those who don't follow the scene this is the best way to get your feet(amongst other things) wet. If your're a fan of the genre or you're lookin to add something different to your collection of contemporary r&b music, I strongly suggest giving this a chance. It's very rare we get to see what's in Pandora's Box and now we get to hear what's in it!
Candidate for best album of 2007. Peace out.
