"Although not as immediately catchy as Rew's Tunnel Into Summer, Great Central Revisited kind of sneaks up on you, puts you in a headlock of guitar riffs and invigorating chord changes and then let's you go. You'll sit there wondering what hit you as you are captured by the vivid melodies and songcraft of Rew's third solo album.Always an inspired guitar player and songwriter, Rew has grown to become a confident front man as well. These thirteen gems will continue to resonate in your head hours after your first listen. I found myself humming the first two songs on the disc even after only a listen or two. It's good to see that Rew hasn't lost his remarkable skills as a player and songwriter. Add to those skills the newly rediscovered self confidence as a singer, and you've got a fine new album that will definitely stay in your CD player and be on your top ten lists for 2002."
