Album DescriptionThe live acoustic sessions on this collection are lightly mastered, but far from produced. Raw, unplugged and often acappella, Kimberly's voice is accompanied by crickets, buzzing neon lights, water and the sounds of a sleeping city at 4am.
Venues showcased in this album include the after-hours security hallway of an old airfield, a few park benches, the fountain at St. Edward's University, The Oaks Trailer Park and a cement pipe in a closed construction site.
David Jr. elegantly dissolves the boundaries of the typical recording venue to showcase some of the most intimate lyrical moments of songwriter and rock and roll icon Kimberly Freeman's career in her own South Austin, Texas neighborhood.
