More than just a 'Simple Girl'

"Kiley Dean is a rare female voice that comes around every five to ten years. Before her, it was Alicia Keys and Christina Aguillera. Before that, Aaliyah and Beyonce. Before them, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houstan and several others during that time. Having heard the majority of her unreleased album, "Simple Girl", which I just found out has been redone with only four cuts from the original album saved for the new one, everyone needs to know about Ms. Dean. Since Timbaland's Beat Club Records isn't doing much with her until recently, it's time to go elsewhere, but still supplied with those Timbo beats, of course. The first single, "Make Me A Song" was a nice introduction to Kiley, as she asks the trackmaster himself, Timbaland, to supply her with beats sure to keep the party movin'. To me, it's a swipe at the artists that get those Timbaland beat biters to do their tracks instead of asking the man himself. Sure he charges an arm and a leg, but think of the long run: a successful song that will be memorable. Many people believed that Kiley was ripping off the late, great Aaliyah by singing 'rock the boat' in the chorus. Not at all. KD was simply paying homage to Aaliyah in asking for a track that could be just as great as some of Aaliyah's biggest hits. "Simple Girl" originally promised cuts like "Keep It Movin'", "Simple Girl", "Cross The Line" and "Busy"-- all sure hits-- surrounded by other tracks such as "Kiss Me Like That" and "Stay Away (From My Boyfriend)", a throw back to 1950's/1960's, a kind of doo wopish music. But for some reason, her album got held back, possibly due to being leaked on the internet. For several months after "Make Me A Song", no one heard anything from Kiley until "Who Will I Run To?" hit the airwaves. A video was promised but then, again, nothing. Kiley needs a label that is ready to make moves not a new label by a hitmaking producer that has only a handful of artists attatched to the label (Bubba Sparxxx, Kiley Dean, Attitude, and D.O.E). So far, three artists have also been dropped/left Beat Club, including Ms. Jade, Shelby Norman, and Timbaland's own brother, Sebastian "

"I just have to say that she has been added to my list of singers whom WoW me...Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, and NOW...Ms. Thang..KILEY DEAN. Her voice is amazing, the song "Who Will I Run TO" is AMAZING. I heard it on the radio., didnt know who she was, just that I liked the song, and the note she hits towards the end got my attention, also her voice is so soulful. Shes so cute, and holds her own ground. I feel she needs more publicity!!! She should get a new publicist, I'm starting to do some promos for her, cause you can't let an artist like this pass by: SHES WOW...do your thang Kiley. EVERYONE BUY THIS CD!, and look out for her album"
