"the songs are catchy, but when it comes to the multiplication part, the lady stops singing and just chants with music playing in the background. NOT what I was looking for. :("

"This item makes learning the times tables so much fun! After getting the first cd all scratched up, I had to buy it a second time- and my child ALREADY knew the times tables!! She wanted it because it was fun! The music is varied, from two steps to salsa and the wording makes for a nice background story.
The times tables are given one after another (2 times 1 is 2, 2 times 2 is 4...) and after stating all of them once it gives a little stanza and repeats it leaving the answer open so the child can answer from memory, repeating it again with the answer so the child has the answer available in case they forget.
I highly recommend this item to any parent."
Offensive and Boring

"This CD's songs don't actually use melody or syncopation to help children memorize. It recited the tables in a robotic chanting. I do not think the mskers of this CD understand that children learn through music because of the beat and tune.
The offensive part of this CD is how the female vocalist uses a Long Island Jewish accent, mocking the accent and effectively making it an anti-semetic song.
To sum up, this CD was ineffective in teaching the multiplication tables, as well as mocking the accent of someone from a different culture and background."
