The way Prince use to be and more

"For those of us who miss the funk that was once produced by Prince back in the day Kevin Michael fills in the void. Though the first two tracks did not do much for me, if you enjoy them then hold on for a wild ride. From song #3 on the funk is unleashed. If you like creative R&B with a little funk thrown in from time to time you will love this album. If Prince could go back to this type of recording there would be many many fans delighted beyond belief. If you thought Van Hunt was taking the mantle Kevin Michael is grabbing hold and not letting go."

THIS MAN IS REFRESHING AND I'M SURPRISED THE RADIO DOESN'T PLAY HIS MUSIC. SHAME ON THEM! HE IS A CROSS BETWEEN FUNK,SOUL, R&B, NEO-SOUL ALL IN ONE. LOVE HIS STYLE, HIS MUSIC AND HIS VOICE. VERY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT'S ALREADY OUT THERE. BUY THIS CD AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT. "This project is quite impressive I must say. He is a part of the new breed and hopefully the direction music for teen and young adults are taking. A nice mix of hip-hop, R&B, reggae flavor with futuristic sounds and lyrical perspective. He definately has something to say along with the catchy hooks, flow and unique vocal quality and sound that is reflective of ole school but at the same time different enough to be distinguishable from past artist. Hopefully, he will get the exposure he deserves. Through mediums like amazon, some that may not have known about him are having that opportunity, like myself.
And I got to mention the fact that Q-Tip, makes a guest appearance on a funky track that just puts the icing on the cake for me. Those of you who are supporters of Q-Tip from Tribe, as well as his, solo work understand that this kind of endorsement carries alot of weight for those who can appreciate hip-hop on a whole nuther level. This project definately lives up to that standard. Oh, and look out for his movie day bue on January 25, 2008."
Too blessed to be stressed

"People are sleepin on this dude right here. There's alot of comparisons to be made between Kevin Michael and the Purple One. Wyclef on the album is boo boo but Q-tip saves it."
