"I came across Kevin playing at a coffee house in Long Island and was taken in by his thoughtful playing and meaningful lyric. I was very glad to see that he put out a CD. The songs are all very finely crafted, and executed with true musicianship. The lyrics have a depth and poetry that is not usually found in contemporary music. The production is also of the highest caliber. Standout tunes are "Give Love" a beautiful duet profiling a relationship under duress and "Sirens in the Distance" - three scenes of abusive relationships along with a magnificent guitar solo that gives impressions of Clapton and Knopfler. The one thing I don't get is why "The Road Home" has an explicit lyric warning. I've listened to the CD several times and there is only one instance of a single 4 letter word, which far from being gratuitous is a vital element in depicting a scene. Perhaps the explicit warning was instead refering to the fact that the lyrics are thought provoking and emotionally engaging."
