"Kent never fails to deliver. Only a year or so after their previous album they release a 5 track EP, in my opinion that's almost an album. And this is even better than Du & Jag, Döden, the atmosphere has changed a bit, it's more depressing in a bright way, like Lou Reeds Perfect day. Dom som försvann (Those who disappeared) is maybe their best song ever, I'll translate some of its lyrics:
"Tänd eld på dina tankar
Med dina svarta tysta tårar
Jag vet & Du vet allt tar slut
Långsamt genom rummet går hon ut
Kom låt oss gå herifrån
Låt oss resa nogonstans
Resa långt härifrån
Låt oss bli dom som försvann"
"Set your thoughts on fire
With your black silent tears
I know & You know nothing lasts forever
Slowly through the room she leaves
Come let's leave this place
Let's go somewhere
Travel far from here
Let us be those who disappeared"
It sounds better in Swedish, such a beautiful language, but you get the picture. It's such a mellow and fragile sound to this EP. If this Ep won't be translated, you should get someone to translate the lyrics for you, they're to great to not be understood. Joakim really is a true poet and artist.
If I should die someday, and I will, I would die listening to this music, that should say it all. If you listen to Radiohead, R.E.M, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, or the likes of those, you should buy this EP, you won't regret it.
"
I'm an american, I can't speak Swedish and I still love it!

"I'm sorry I just must have a blind ear because every song they have ever made sounds different but they all sound like KENT and they are the only band that has been able to capture it. KENT, I can't wait for the new cd!"
