"Even though I was quite familiar with these songs since I had the albums on CD or LP, they sound so good now remastered. You actually hear instruments that were possibly not audible before. The amount of songs (36)I think, comprise the 1980s up to 1993! And we're not talking just hits. These choosers, likely with Kenny, go deep and yank out album cuts alongside the hits that made him more famous than he already is in country/pop genre. "Tomb of The Unknown Love", "I Prefer The Moonlight", "Twenty Years Ago" and the daring "Ol' Red" composition are just a few of the story songs that fans know Kenny is loved for.
In past years, "The Gambler", "Coward of the County", "Love Will Turn You Around" were only some of the #1 hits that he knocked out almost effortlessly. Kenny has shown his talent in television by way of movies, western and comedy/drama. No question he's got humor. No question he's got a love for what I once heard him say, "When I start looking for love songs to sing, I look for songs that say what every man would like to be able to say and what every woman would like to hear... Here's your new credit card." Then he puts his hand to his head as if to say, "I'm losin' it." Yup, Kenny, you are losin' it. And you're giving whatever it is to us and we love it. You are The Gambler and borrowing from your co-written song, your heart has a voice. There is, "Something Inside So Strong"."
