"I had purchased his record when it first came out. The arrangments are incredible. What happened to Kenny? We miss him. Even though this was recorded originally in the 70's...his music is timeless. I can't tell you how excited I was to brouse AMazon and find this record now on CD. I've looked for it for year!"

"Listening to kenny is like drinking cool fresh water, hard to find, but man it flows! kenny is unique in talent and style in this CD. Listen to the cut titled "Inside" even his humming is soulful. It touches the core of a persons heart! "Lost up in loving you" is fragrantly moving! The chord changes, the flow of the melody, the spirit of the song, pure greatness! Now add Rankin's voice, and you have delighfully AWESOME! Do not miss this one! If you're tired of hearing the "wanna be's" and you need a touch of freshness, get back to the basics-get back to Kenny!!"
Inside is my favorite Kenny Rankin album.

"I remember my mother listening to this album (Remember those? They're made of wax and they're round!!!) Anyway, she'd lay in the dark and play it...along with George Benson's "Breezin" and she'd be in the dark...just listening. It wasn't until 2 years ago that I decided to get this CD to bring me back to those days of yesteryear...then I searched all over and got the cassette too(because I'm also a cassette collector). I could listin to "Lost up in loving you" over and over again. That song is sooooo beautiful. Where did Kenny go anyway? He needs to come back and bring the real music with him."

"This was the album of my youth....college 1971 -1975. So many of these tunes and others I have on vinyl I cannot play anymore...this is a wonderful, lyrical, melodius work that speaks of love and hope...No one I have heard has such a rich and beautiful voice as Kenny Rankin...I keep hoping he will have a major come back."
