For the past year, Kendra has been putting her mark on the current blue eyed-soul scene with her lush harmonies, big voice, tightly spun lyrical prowess, knack for writing a hook and downright funky accompaniments. As Interview magazine says, Although she could be compared to Amy Winehouse, Adele and Joss Stone, the best analogy for Morris might be a modern-day Janis Joplin.
