"As a 80's novice and quite a collector... i must admit it took me years to find this song as i had no clue who did it. I only had a copy on tape that i kept until i could burn it onto cd. The version i had was a single edit of the 12 inch version. Which had all the good elements down to four minutes. This E.P. i rated two stars because while the original version is a true chic classic and a must have for twelve inch collector's, the other remixes were horrible. They started out to have great potential but the remixer rehashed way too much. And the quality was worse than my maxell tape version. The only thing that was salvagable was the first track because it was rather short and could not be overdone. I would compare this to madonna's bye bye baby single, the song was not that popular but the import single remixes were just horrible...same thing here. And all you queens know where i'm coming from. I understand that it was re-remixed in the 2000, but with all the available technology is was sad that this is what he came up with. A true waste of a classic dance hit. But i do recommend it if you cannot find a download of the original 12 inch anywhere else."

"I JUST HAD TO HAVE THIS CD, THIS CD HAS THE LONG VERSION OF "HEY HEY GUY". I DIDNT WANT THE REMIX LIKE THE FULL LP. THIS IS ANOTHER WBMX 102.7 CHRONIC CLASSIC THAT GOT PLENTY OF RADIO PLAY IN CHICAGO BACK IN THE 80'S. I CAN STILL REMEMBER THE WAY "FARLEY JACKMASTER FUNK" MIXED IT (THAT WAS 10+ YEARS AGO.) THIS IS A COOL CD FOR THE HI-NRG COLLECTION. GET IT NOW."
