This is a cool classic cd. Kelly Osbourne sings some catchy songs and her snide rebellious personality is well reflected in this music. It is very enjoyable.

An Unexpected Surprise - It's Good

"It seems that there are plenty of people who dislike this album, and dislike Kelly Osbourne in general. I must say though, that I really enjoy this disc, and I really like her style. She's bringing something new to the genre, but not overdoing it. She knows what kind of music she's doing, and it's not exactly pop, not exactly rock, but she does it well. I purchased the cd on a whim when I saw it at the used cd shop. I just got the feeling that it might be good - and it was. However, it seems most people hate the song "Shut Up," which must have had extensive radio play or something ... I wouldn't know - I never listen to the radio myself. Personally, I like that song a lot too."
I like it

"I really like this album. I wonder if Kelly's relation to Ozzy and The Osbournes TV show did more to hurt her music career than help it... seems like a lot of people just like to bash Kelly because of that stuff. The Shut Up album is pop-punk with total Kelly attitude. The sound reminds me of the band Hole. Kelly's voice is strong within her range, and she really shines on the song "More Than Life Itself," which is my favorite track. If you like good 'ol rockin fun pop punk rock, this is a great CD in that genre. Standout tracks include More Than Life Itself, Papa Don't Preach, Come Dig Me Out, and Disconnected."
