"Kelly Deal is COOL. She reminds me of Annette Funicello on junk. Her songs are self-deprecating and human, and the music is both sloppy and melodic at the same time. This is the musical equivilent to that favorite sweater you have with all the big nasty holes in it, that you'd never wear out of the house but want to be buried in. Kelly Deal is the Parker Posey of rock and roll."

"I found this used for $5.95, so I grabbed it, knowing I wouldn't feel bad if I didn't like it. But it really is very catchy. It seems that most people who've reviewed this CD can't separate Kelley Deal from her sibling Kim, which is a shame because they really are quite divergent in their musical pathways and approaches. It's not the Breeders, and this is a good thing. Very listenable, you should pick this up. She has an odd humor that comes thru, and her vocal talents pretty much wipe the floor with those of her more famous sibling."
