Utterly essential avant-funk-dub-sample noise.

"While released under drummer Keith LeBlanc's name, this was the first true Tackhead album. The legendary Sugar Hill house band - Doug Wimbish (bass), Skip MacDonald (guitar) and LeBlanc collide at high speed with extremely spooky samples (including audio from the Challenger disaster) and Adrian Sherwood's wicked ear. It's funky and scary at the same time, like nothing else you've heard (unless you've heard Tackhead at their very best) and a must-own for anyone interested in the On-U sound or the rise of sample-centric music.
NB: Recently re-released on Select Cuts with four bonus tracks..."

"Ignore the amazon tracklist for Angels In Pigtails, It's got nothing to do with the album."
