"I picked this one up in Japan last year so I didn't have to pay the import price, but I'd say it's well worth the import price if you're a fan of Kazumi-san's work. This recording takes a break from many of the fusion recordings he's know for. Recorded with a full orchestra it harkens back to some of the Wes Montgomery string recordings from the sixties. I especially like the version of 'Goodbye Porkpie Hat" on this CD. It's one of the best I've ever heard. There's even a Burt Bacharach cover on here. The orchestral arrangements by Masanori Sasaji are brilliant and I can only think that he's listened to a little Nelson Riddle in his time. Once again, if your a Kazumi Watanabe fan it's well worth the price, if you're just a jazz guitar fan, and happen to find yourself in Japan, pick this one up. It's too bad that Kazumi-san's recordings are no longer released in the U.S.Kampai!"
