It is my intention and great hope that those who hear this music will be touched by the beauty of the spirit that mvoes me to play it. For me, playing a concert is not just a chance to express myself, but rather to lose myself in the rapture of true beauty. It is with great pleasure that I am able to record some of my favorite compositions of Chopin, Schubert and Liszt, which I have been performing regularly in recent years. These magical masterpieces evoke sentiments which run the gamut of human emotion from great sorrow to profound joy. This CD is dedicated to my mother Irina, for all her sacrifices and great friendship. I love her with all my heart.
