Veteran folk artists Kate MacLeod and Kat Eggleston have performed together since 1999. As a duo their charm and musicality transform into a sum greater than its parts. Lost and Found features original songs, traditional instrumental pieces from the British Isles, and covers of songs by Robert Burns, Jean Ritchie, Andrew Calhoun and ABBA. Kat Eggleston: vocals and guitar; Kate MacLeod: vocals, violin, harmonica, guitar. Kate's Sometimes a Sound and Kat's Africa are previously unrecorded, and the disc also features some of their most popular pieces, Kate's much-covered Lark in the Morning and Eggleston's Rain, based on her father's memories of life in the Dust Bowl.
