"The title song is a true story. In 1948-1950,the old village of Graun was flooded, in order to build a hydroelectric dam. A new
town was built on higher ground. all the other buildings even-
tually caved in, but the Church stands erect, sticking out of
Reschensee. The title song is the best, but also special are
"Einmal Nur" and "Che Bella La Vita", which you did not list.
It should be #10, where you have the writer's names listed in-
stead. There are several good groups from Sudtirol, but this
group stands out. Just about all of the stories they tell, or
themes for their songs are from personal experiences, historical
facts, or stories about people they have met. They are one of the top-selling groups in Europe, but, so far have not left the
Continent to perform."
