"I first heard about Kaoma when I was traveling in Europe several years ago. I bought a tape of theirs which is currently unavailable. Then I bought A La Media Noche, and it's a great album, especially the song "Todo". The singer Loalwa Braz has a great voice and can sing in several languages.I definitely recommend Kaoma, and I'm sorry they aren't putting out more albums."

"Kaoma has the freshest sound in the business, with top-flight vocals, compelling drumming, bright guitar stylings, original drum sounds, bright brass and dynamite lyrics. Never mind that they sing in Spanish and Portuguese, this ensemble deserves much more recognition than they seem to be getting."
