"The three earliest Kaipa albums--Kaipa, Solo, and Inget Nytt Unter Solen--are all wonderful, but for me this (Inget) is the best of the bunch.
Lyrical, complex, haunting, thundering, surprising, wonderfully played and sung--it is endlessly fascinating and just gets better with repeated listenings.
The most amazing thing about it is its diversity. What a range. Huge, epic compositions alternating with sweet ballads.
The vocals are almost all in Swedish (I wish I spoke Swedish!), with one or two in English. But this hardly matters: the vocal intonation and really good (and REALLY VARIED) singing conveys the emotional content.
One of the best prog albums ever.
It is awfully hard to find. I don't know if I could pay $31 for it. I was lucky to get one in trade. But I would strongly consider it.

NOT just for Roine Stolt fans

"I , like many people, were intrigued by this release because of head Flower King Roine Stolt. There is so much here that goes beyond the Stolt connection. Prog , at it's lyrical best. Haunting melodies , with beautifully sung lyrics (even if I don't understand the language). An under-appreciated band that deserves attention"
