"Each song is profoundly memorable.
The title song is soothing, has a beautiful melody and takes time to make you love it.
Mitwa and its remix are unforgettable- one wonders why this tune was never set to words before or why these words were never set to tune before.
Where's the Party Tonight?- Peppy, dancy, alive, enthusiastic, fun.
Rock And Roll Soniye- Excellent. Give it a few hearings- the tune and execution make 'foot-tapping' almost instantly a hobby!
Tumhi Dekho Na- Superlative piano mastery, unbeatble melody.
look, just buy this!"

"Generally Indian Movie soundtracks are usually cheaply composed, but in the recent years orchestration has become pretty prominent. The Indian team of soundtrack composers, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa have once again, won my appreciation. Thier work on Kal Ho Naa Ho have forced me to buy this album. The songs structure is about the same as KHNK, reputated title song with electronic touches on few songs. The most unique features about thier music it is very theatrical, brooding, nocturnal and reflective. It has a lot of American Influence embedded in this album, for example the blues solo in the very upbeat Rock and Roll Soniye (remember Pretty Woman from KHNH?). Two electronic House tracks put on the party mood of the album, Mitwa Revisted and Where is the Party tonight. Mitwa has a kind of traditional feel to it. Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Tumhi Dekho Naa are two of the more Adult Contemporary ones. Tumhi Dekho Naa is basically an offshoot of a melody of the title song, with lots of improvizations. The whole song is of the same key signature and tempo. The moods of these two songs are very captivating. You can actually see that they put alot of effort in these two tracks. This duo transcends the album and make it different from the other Hindi Soundtracks. Overall... GREAT ALBUM!"
