"She is very funny, and she does not have to swear a lot in croaky voice to be an ace female comedian. Elvira's look onto frustrations of our daily adult life through the eyes of a child is so much fresher than your average (and tired) stand-up exploitation of common observations. And it is also very funny. Elvira is very strong on delivery, too: unlike other acts, her lines could not be delivered by just about anybody. The track about "No, no, no, no, no!" is a pure gem, and the album is really worth going for."
Funny, funny, funny!

"Major perk - can listen to this CD repeatedly and I laugh everytime.
Ms. Kurt's delivery is warm and friendly. Her material ranges from personal experiences to subjects with which all audiences identify."

"Ms. Kurt has a wonderful observational wit spanning universal topics of childhood and a child's self-abandon to her "coming out". She can cleverly turn some of the classic homophobic arguments back around from the gay perspective in a hilarious fashion. I look forward to the day I can see her live. Until then, this CD packs an evening of laughs and makes me yearn for the childhood images she paints with her humor."

"I first saw Elvira Kurt's stand up on Comedy Central's Half Hour speacial. This albulm contains some of that material, but most of it will be new to your ears. She is very funny, even hilarious when she begins to speak of her parents and their reaction to being gay.Her playground flashback is the highlight of the albulm."
