"Having been pretty much a Junoon fan, in my point of view, this album doesn't come near to the potential of what the band can come out with. This lackluster album contains few good songs however, there is a hint of the "Old Junoon" in a few songs like "Shamein", which is simply brilliant. Ali Azmat tend's to sing more in a "filmi" manner now which isn't what die hard Junoonis want. Apart for "Shamein", "Kaise Gaoun" and "Ishq" are somewhat better songs. "Jaaney Tu" sounds like a Jon Bon Jovi rip off, however the semblance is very little. Junoon should really forget about Sufi and "filmi" music and get back into gear into doing what they do best, perform Urdu Rock."

"my best friend is pakistani, and whenever he'd have a party, we'd listen to junoon. i loved it so much that i had him burn me a copy (i know, bad!). it's such wonderful music. i love the slow beats to fast melodies, it's very pleasing to the ear. furthermore, it's infused with political meaning. not at all pop-y like many international groups are. junoon is simply the best."
