"this is some ill bizness. he picked up on everything good aphextwin (rdj) and squarepusher did with melodies + arrangements combined with sweet mathmatical drill n bass methods... style for life is a record to own to sit down with... its reminds me of "4" and "girlboysong" on tyhe Richard D James album... its got some hints of that pretty drillnbass, and the lovely strings, and calmness yet fastness. also its got that home lo-fi innocent quality that you get from listening to Bogdan Raczynski's samurai math beats... if Bogdan was elementary school kid beats with hyperactive problems, Junior Varsity is a grown up Highschool tracker with growing pains beats. i also read somewhere that Kenric Mcdowell (Junior Varsity) was a classical music student... im so glad hes tracking it, his pieces are just so amazing; casio synths rez filtered, oscillators, making symphonies wow! =)"
