CD ReviewsReview Anita Jones | 10/12/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "This album is wonderful. I live in Sedalia, Colorado. My two sons are buried in the Bear Canon Cemetery she talks about. I have seen Emma's and Christine Overstreet Tombstone in the back of the Cemetery. Many years ago in days of childhood, I would gather on a footstool of my father's and hear my father and mother speak of their childhood and family. In 1979, a brown, hand written book of my Grandmothers' came into my possession and it intrigued me. It was a story of a journey, begun in the early 1930's by my Grandmother and her Sister. The journey they began became fascinating and became my journey. There were stories of lawyers, physicians, war hero's, witches, and prisoners, both of war and of bad choices made. It was a story of survival in a harsh new land and life that encompassed more than 400 years of personal and world history. I identified so very much with Juni Fisher's songs, her quest, and cried with Emma's Story and at her tombstone. I would love to meet Juni Fisher. It is not the search that is fascinating; it is the people you meet along the pathway."
