"Man is this record fantastic. I have loved the sound of Mitch Woods since the day I first purchased his 1984 masterpiece "Steady Date" and wore out my stylus on it in one week. To be honest, as good as his subsequent releases were, I never thought any of them quite attained to the joyous jumping boogie he laid down on that first effort. Until now! This is Mitch and the boys at their finest. This is easily his most mature and accessible work, just brimming over with classic tunes that make you want to dance and party like you did back in the day. Anybody who digs jump/swing/blues/boogie, or any comination thereof, will absolutely swim in the sublimity of this tasty confection. Tunes like BROKE, GOLDEN GATE JUMP, PALM TREE TIE, STRAIGHT EIGHT, etc., just lock into such a goodtime groove that you can't help but smile from ear to ear. This CD makes you want to put the top down and hit the boulevard with the stereo blasting full volume. Believe me when I say it is a party waiting to happen. So buy this disk, pour yourself a martini, crank it up and ride the wave. You'll be glad you took the trip."
