"This is an edgy effort from these guys this time around. I wasn't expecting back to back 5 star efforts (who could really pull that off these days) but this is flat out fantastic! This is a darker ride than Face the Light, the subject here is an apocalypse of the human condition ranging from slightly mad to a morass of emotion that finds the difficulties of everyday living and surviving each moment. The song Prism goes a long way in proving my point, the lyrics are troubling and the delivery vocally is downright scary, it's a must listen. The album moves at a rapid pace pressing every human button as possible. The shred of hope comes in the final number Remember Love, while it stands as a glimmer of hope into the future, the hope isn't perfect and it leaves us wondering what themes the next album may address. So if you like music with an edge that runs the gauntlet of guitar driven metal to some wonderful piano compositions, look no further, you just may have found the best kept secret in music."
