Julius Reubke was a high romantic German composer with many similarities to Franz Liszt. The organ music is played upon the 5-manual Casavant organ at Broadway Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas. The piano works are performed by Casadesus Gold Medal winner John Owings on the Steinway. Both artists are faculty at Texas Christian University, Fort Worth. This product plays on all conventional CD players. However, when played on an SACD system, there are 2 additional high-resolution versions of the audio program available, one in SACD stereo and one in SACD Multichannel. The recording was engineered by Zarex HD on location in Fort Worth, Texas using multi-channel DSD (Direct Stream Digital) audio recorders, and post-produced and mastered/ authored for SACD at Zarex HD studio in South Bend, Indiana.
