Very disappointing.

"(Sorry about the language, but I'm from Germany.) Julia Nunes is the darling of the You Tube community. When you watch her homemade videos, you realize that she has got that certain something people call charisma. She uses her ukulele, creates a chorus by multi-tracking her voice or invites friends into her little "studio" to have more fun. That's really great. But what is she doing on this CD? She plays guitar, nothing else (no ukulele, no multi-tracking, no friends) and she doesn't sound relaxed at all, more like a singer with a very very serious message. In fact, she often reminds me of Alanis Morissette, and, oh, I disgust that woman's voice. So this record is really a disappointment. I prefer to watch her (and listen to her) on You Tube."
Raw but fascinating

"Look,
I agree with the first review in the sense that the album is a little monotone stylistically. Listen beyond that, though. Hear the lyrical content, the uniqueness of the vocals. The emotionality in her diction. Who knows why she didn't multi-track (self harmonize) on the album. Suffice it to say, it wasn't made on a big budget. Don't miss out on Left Right Wrong because it isn't produced to the hilt. Pick up the album because she's different...In a good way; because she's got something to say and she says it."
