Juice Newton's Anthology is the best collection so far

"Juice Newton's latest compilation of hits, "Anthology," is the best of its kind so far. It includes the songs everyone knows, "Hurt," "Angel Of The Morning," and "Queen Of Hearts," but neglects her hit version of "The Sweetest Thing" and her earliest hits "Let's Keep It That Way" and "Sunshine." Even the Top 40 pop hit "Tell Her No" is ignored in favor of the non-hit track "Easy way Out." Still, the collection is the best of its kind. Juice sounds great on 17 of the 19 tracks. (Why the 1975 single "Love Is A Word" was included, I'll never understand.) Juice has one of the most versatile voices in music, easily slipping back and forth from rock to country. Still, if you're only beginning to cut your teeth on Juice's music, I would recommend the Cd "Juice," which is amazing or "Ain't Gonna Cry," which is currently out-of-print but definitely worth the hunt!"
An excellent retrospective of Juice's career

"This compilation is chosen by Juice herself as her favorite compilation for good reason. It has 2 Silver Spur cuts recorded for RCA, Love Is The Word and The Sweetest Thing (I've Ever Known) to her signature pop/country crossover hits on Capitol and RCA. BMG Special Products manufactured the CD and it does contribute to the fact that they used the Silver Spur version of "The Sweetest Thing" instead of the hit version, which is on her "Juice" and the Capitol "Greatest Hits" CD's but otherwise all the hit versions of the recordings are included including the hit versions of Queen of Hearts, Angel of The Morning, Love's Been a Little Bit Hard on Me, Break It To Me Gently and Heart of The Night and her 1985-1990 RCA country hits naturally have the biggest chunk due to the fact that BMG manufactured the CD. Recommended as a compliment to a Capitol hits collection and/or the DCC "Juice" CD."

"The CD I have has more songs on it then this so let's hope not all the tracks are listed. Juice's LP covers her hits and her should've been hits (Can't Wait All Night) the only question is why did they use the awful first version of The Sweetest Thing instead of the one off her Juice LP on this CD."
